Barbara Fouquet is a temporary research and teaching assistant at the University of Bordeaux 2. Her research experience involves segregation in secondary schools. She is presently completing her doctorate in sociology on the effects of social and ethnic segregation on identity and friendship networks of junior high school aged youth. She has also worked with Claire Schiff on the analysis of the school trajectories of a cohort of migrant youth. She is experienced in quantitative sociological analysis.
