Violetta Zentai, Ph.D. is a cultural anthropologist, and the Director of the CPS since September 2003. Dr. Zentai is engaged in research focusing on gender and racial equality, welfare debates, post-socialist economic transformation, and democratic governance and decentralization. She is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Pecs, and CEU’s Sociology and Social Anthropology Department and the Public Policy Department.
